What we started with
We have spent the last three years in the slow and painful process of fixing up a old victorian home that dates back to 1902. We didn’t buy the house with the idea that we would fix it up to sell. In fact, we had to move for my work and we had planned to spend a lot longer here. So with little time and a tight budget we ended up doing a lot of small projects.
When we first moved in the plaster was hanging off the walls, the hardwood floors were covered with ancient carpet or painted, and most of the walls had several layers of wallpaper on them. To make things worse our home sold on the first open house and we ended up having to move in before we could tackle many of these problems.
